Lifechat Lx-3000 Driver Windows 10

LifeChat LX-3000 audio not working on Windows 10: Hello When I use my headset the sound comes through beautifully, but the audio is rubbish. None of the settings give me an option to fix it. None of the settings give me an option to fix it.

Ok, il tell you the easiest way to fix it. If you havent done so already. If your on Windows XP then right click on the speaker icon at the bottom and then adjust audio properties and then press on the Hardware Tab and find one that says Audio something. If you press on each one next to Manufacturer: Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 like that. Once found press properties and uninstall it.

And then take out the USB and put it back into your computer. And let it install the drivers again and thats it ur done!

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. Please point me out if it is not. We try to integrate 'Lifechat LX-3000' with our product - a VoIP softphone. Our product supports a number of headset devices.

My questions are: 1. Is the Lifechat LX-3000 a HID compatible device? The reason I ask is, we don't receive the proper events from the device when we press buttons on the device.

We always receive 'C' when we press the 'Mute' button or 'Talk' button. If the device is HID compatible, please tell me how to get it work? Do I need to install drivers, for example? If the device is not HID compatible, is there a way to make it work? Are there any technical documents about this device?

Hi Janet, Thanks for reply. I forgot to mention that I actually installed the driver. But it still didn't work. I'm running Win7 64bit in my workstation.

We'd like to get the device work for XP, Vista(32/64bit), and Win7(32/64bit) platforms. When I pressed the 'Volume Up' button on the device, I got the Usage page and usage value 0X000C and 0X00E9.

We expect to receive something similar if we press the 'Mute' or 'Talk' button. But actually we always get value 'C' if we press the Mute or Talk buttons. I'm wondering if there is a way to get it work. Thanks again.
